IPTL - Aces cruise past Manila

MANILA: The Aces, who maintained their all-win record with a resounding 30-18 verdict over the UAE Royals, had all but sealed the tie even before Rafa hit a ball as they opened up an eight-game lead (18-10).
Rohan Bopanna set the tone, delivering seven aces, while Sania Mirza struck three winners to break Daniel Nestor's serve and give the Aces the opening (mixed doubles) set.
Samantha Stosur (women's singles) and Fabrice Santoro (legends singles) clinched the next two, before Rafa took centrestage and killed any hopes the Royals may have had of a stunning recovery .
Rafa and Dodig combined like long-time partners, as the Aces pair rode on a single break to down Nestor and Berdych 6-3.
